Annual M-Awards for Masonry Excellence

To encourage and recognize excellence in masonry design, the Masonry Institute of Michigan (MIM), in cooperation with AIA Michigan, holds an Annual Masonry Honor Awards Program to honor works of distinction by members of AIA Michigan and to bring to public attention outstanding buildings and projects designed by AIA Michigan architects.

Scholarship Foundation Golf Outing

Held every year since 1976, the MIMSF Golf Outing raises funds to support the MIM Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships to architectural students attending Michigan Universities.

Annual Sporting Clay Shoot

Sponsored by the Membership Committee.  Members and guests gather at the Island Lake Recreation Area in Brighton each fall for a fun day of sport shooting. The Island Lake facility is one of the nation's most modern and safest shooting ranges.  It has been expanded to include skeet, trap, and sporting clays.  The range is fully handicap accessible.

Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the members shall be held on the first Saturday in the month of December in each year, or as soon thereafter as possible, for the purpose of electing Trustees and for the transaction of such other business as may come before the meeting.

Board Meetings

The business and affairs of the Institute shall be managed by its Board of Trustees.
