MIM Scholarship Foundation

Foundation Contribution Form

Dear Masonry Industry,

As you know, the Masonry Institute of Michigan (MIM) since 1976 has contributed to a Scholarship Fund for the College of Architecture at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) in Southfield. The MIM Board of Trustees decided last year to extend the awarding of $1500 scholarships each to include three other Colleges of Architecture: Andrews University, University of Detroit Mercy, University of Michigan. To accomplish this endeavor, the MIM Scholarship Foundation was established.

In preparation for awarding scholarships in the year 2007 and thereafter, the net proceeds from the MIM annual golf outing will continue to be used as a source of revenue for the MIM Scholarship Foundation Fund. Your tax-deductible contribution can help this fund grow even more! The goal is to be able to award scholarship monies with the interest gained on the fund’s principle.

The masonry industry, through the Masonry Institute of Michigan, has awarded 142 scholarships since the inception of the first annual J.R. Snyder Scholarship in December 1976. The Snyder Scholarship, as well as the others, Robert F. Ebeling, John A. Heslip, George Spencer, Louis A. Scheich Sr., Michael Navetta, David McGrath, and Karl H. Greimel is now open to all architectural students in Michigan.

Consider a contribution to help the MIM Scholarship Foundation grow. The architectural students of today will be the design professionals of tomorrow.

Please help us support these students!
