Dan has been the Executive Director of MIM since 1990 and been with the Institute since 1986. A graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, he is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan. Dan's professional affiliations include The Masonry Society, American Society of Testing and Materials (currently serving on the C15 Executive Subcommittee as Membership Secretary), Masonry Standards Joint Committee, MIOSHA Alliance, Structural Engineers Association of Michigan, American Society of Professional Estimators, and American Society of Civil Engineers.

Kelly Walker has been with the MIM since 1998 and is a graduate of Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. In addition to her degree, she has completed the Structural Masonry Design Course offered by LTU and has successfully passed the International Code Council's Special Inspector for Structural Masonry examination. Kelly is in charge of answering technical questions and reviewing details and plans. She also participates in MIM's Generic Wall Design committee and Michigan Masonry Advisory Board meetings.

Michelle Heitz has been with MIM for 15 years. Michelle works on the Awards Program, Scholarship Golf Outing, Continuing Education Programs, Accounting, Membership, and non-technical issues.
