On the cover: University of Michigan's stadium renovation is designed to be reminiscent of similar facilities found in classical antiquities, transposed into brick. The 100' tall towers and 400' long arcade walls make a grand statement, while more than one million hand-laid brick in 60 shapes break down the massive structure to a more intimate scale.
