17-story, 400-room hotel is part of a $275 million expansion to Motor City Casino which pays tribute to both Detroit's auto industry and the historic brick neighborhood in which it resides. Brick from the temporary casino, the former Wonder Bread factory circa 1915, was matched for the addition doubling it's size. At the suggestion of mason contractor Mike Harman, Leidal & Hart, adding 418,000 brock to the design for the hotel kept the masonry look of the neighborhood and brought the project within budget.

Fordson High School in Dearborn, Michigan was constructed in 1926 of sandstone and granite and is reminiscent of 16th century English universities and manor houses. The current addition designed by TMP Associates replicates the historic building. Dixie Cut Stone & Marble conducted research to find the original quarrier and supplied matching granite. Custom Stone Works fabricated 95 window and six door surrounds. Brazen & Greer Masonry's craftsmen diligently laid the stone.
